PNBA multi-media athlete Adrian Pietrariu shared his 21-year natural bodybuilding transformation.

Natural Bodybuilding Vs. Bodybuilding

Natural bodybuilders must build a top-tier physique without performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs) like steroids. That’s not to say all bodybuilders aren’t natural. However, bodybuilding leagues such as the Internationational Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB) Pro don’t drug test their athletes. Therefore, doping is rampant.

The INBA PNBA (the most prominent natural bodybuilding organization) vets its athletes through the most rigorous drug testing standards, the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA). WADA has a complete 2022 list of banned substances. And any INBA PNBA athlete who fails to adhere to their guidelines will be banned from competing and uploaded to the Hall of Shame.

Therefore, natural bodybuilders follow strict nutrition and training protocols, especially since they can’t use anabolic steroids. Moreover, it takes natural bodybuilders more time to build their physique than steroid users. For example, Adrian Pietrariu’s picture he uploaded is a 21-year transformation. So it’s the INBA PNBA athletes’ job to do their due diligence to ensure the supplements they take are WADA compliant. Nevertheless, many natural bodybuilders supplement with vitamin D since often people are deficient in this mineral. And it’s vital for testosterone, energy, and immune support.
